Our doctors and staffs are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care through on-going education and utilizing state of the art technology. We aim to build a relationship with each patient and we are here to make your experience as pleasant as possible. We provide primary eye care exams, soft and rigid contact lens fittings and refractive surgery consultations, and carry a wide array of designer eyewear. At Eyemax Vision, patient care is our only priority.
Michelle Aung-Kunimura, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Aung-Kunimura completed her undergraduate education in 1996 at University of Chicago at Illinois, with a Bachelor of Science degree. She then went to Illinois College of Optometry where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry in 2002. She is a proud Chinese -American who is dedicated to eye health and patient care. Her practice focuses primarily on providing routine, comprehensive vision exams to ensure the eyes are healthy as well as providing prescriptions for eyeglasses and fitting of all types of contact lenses. Dr. Aung-Kunimura also treats eye diseases, eye infections, eye allergies, and dry eyes. Her time is also spent on co-managing lasik and cataract surgeries with ophthalmologists. In her free time, Dr. Aung-Kunimura loves trying new food, traveling and spending time with her family!
Kelly Aung Chinosornvatana, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Aung was raised in the Chicago suburb of Naperville and attended the University of Illinois at Chicago. She pursued her degree in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. She has received specialized training in ocular disease, glaucoma, cataracts, pediatrics, geriatrics & complex contact lens fittings.
Dr. Aung is warm and an empathetic optometrist treating patients in the Western Suburbs of Aurora and Naperville, IL. Her priorities as an eye care practitioner is to provide each patient with the most personalized examination and clearest vision possible. She combines a warm & friendly bedside manner with the latest technology and current treatment for her patients. When Dr. Aung is not seeing patients – she enjoys arts & crafts and spending time with her two young daughters.
